Marlex® HXB TR-494 Polyethylene by Chevron Phillips Chemical is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) hexene copolymer grade. It possesses broad molecular weight distribution and extra-high molecular weight. This grade exhibits melt strength, pipe stiffness and impact-, creep-, chemical and slow crack growth resistance. It is processed by corrugated pipe extrusion. It is used in roadway culverts, storm sewers, conduit/ducts and land drainage. Marlex® HXB TR-494 Polyethylene meets ASTM D4976-PE 235, AASHTO M 294, AASHTO M 252, ASTM D3350 and CellClass PE445640A.
