About ALM

ALM (Advanced Laser Materials), founded in 2004 and headquartered in Temple, Texas, specializes in additive manufacturing powders and polymer development for laser sintering and AM processes. Core technologies include polymer powder formulation, particle engineering, powder bed fusion optimization, and quality testing to meet industrial AM requirements. ALM provides AM-qualified materials and compound development that enable complex, low-volume tooling, custom geometries, and lightweight structural parts that are difficult to mold using conventional methods. These solutions shorten development cycles while maintaining part performance.

ALM TPE 210-S

ALM TPE 210-S by ALM is a water-insoluble, flexible, 100% recyclable nylon thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. It is a white colored powder. Produces parts with “rubber like” qualities. Exhibits good feature definition and infiltration. Imparts even higher toughness and abrasion resistance when used with polyurethane. ALM TPE 210-S is listed on the TSCA Inventory.

ALM PA 850 Black

ALM PA 850 Black by ALM is a black colored, water insoluble, high performance, melt mixed nylon (PA (polyamide) 11) grade present as powder. Exhibits very little out gassing, which decreases potential for “fogging” on laser window and IR sensors. Possesses tightly controlled particle distribution that creates smooth surface finish and excellent feature details. Offers outstanding mechanical properties without requiring double scan. This product is listed on the TSCA (The Toxic Substances Control Act) Inventory.

ALM PA 614-GS

ALM PA 614-GS by ALM is a white colored, water insoluble, recyclable nylon (PA (polyamide) 12) grade filled with 40% glass. Exhibits optimized flow, improved dimensional stability and increased stiffness. Produces better part surface finish. Suitable for higher temperature applications when compared to unfilled PA. It is a drop-in replacement for other commercially available 40% glass sphere filled PA 12 laser sintering powders. This product is listed on the TSCA (The Toxic Substances Control Act) Inventory.
