ELASTOSIL® eco R 401/90 OH by Wacker is a high consistency silicone rubber (HCR). Exhibits good flexibility, high transparency and mechanical properties. It is easily pigmented with ELASTOSIL® Color Paste PT and have good processing characteristics.
- It replaces 100 % of the fossil-based raw materials to sustainably certified biomass.
- It is a general-purpose grade suitable for producing molded, extruded or calendered articles like seals, gaskets, sheets, tubing and profiles.
- ELASTOSIL® eco R 401/90 OH is recommended for food, dairy, molded parts, general automotive parts, profiles and tubing applications.
- It meets the requirements of BfR and US FDA 21 CFR 177.2600.
