EUROPRENE® SOL T 166 by Versalis (Eni Group) is a linear block copolymer obtained by anionic polymerization. It is based on styrene and butadiene, where bound styrene is 30% by weight. A non-staining antioxidant system is added during the production process. It provides excellent dispersibility and processability, combined with high strength and elasticity. It also functions as a toughening agent in polymer modification and plastic recycling. It is used in compounding for both footwear and technical applications. It is also suitable for bitumen modification in both waterproofing membranes and road pavement applications. EUROPRENE® SOL T 166 has a shelf life of 18 months.
