UNIfINER™ M-2040 by Unitika is an amorphous, highly heat resistant polyarylate resin. It is a thermoplastic aromatic polyester that consists of polycondensate of dihydric phenol and dibasic acid. It is easily & stably soluble in general-purpose solvents such as cyclohexanone and toluene. Possesses great UV absorption capacity and high weathering durability. Exhibits excellent optical property, high surface hardness and excellent mechanical toughness. Shows high volume resistivity, good chemical resistance and dielectric breakdown strength. Used in printed circuits for modification of FPC adhesive layer as well as optical film touchscreen applications including OCA and release film. UNIfINER™ M-2040 is also used in optical display substrates like transparent conductive films for touch screen panels, LCD and OLED.
