TERRAMAC® TE-7307 by Unitika is a biodegradable, plant-based polylactic acid (PLA) grade. Exhibits high heat resistance, high rigidity, antimicrobial properties, low amount of CO2 emission than common plastics, low combustibility and no emission of toxic gas (such as dioxins, hydrogen chloride, NOx, or Sox). It can be processed using injection molding. Suitable for containers, table wear, chassis, etc. Complies with Food Hygiene Law standards(Notification No.370 of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, Japan), Japan Biomass Plastics Association's Certification System for Biodegradable Plastics (GreenPla) Products (Entry on the Society's positive list and acquisition of GreenPla certification mark and labeling), Japan Biomass Plastics Association's Certification System for Biomass-based Plastics (BiomassPla) Products and Japan Organic Recycling Association's Biomass Mark Certification System for Biomass-based Products. TERRAMAC® TE-7307 also complies with biodegradability compliance (JIS K6953 (ISO 14855)).
