Millathane® E40

Supplied byTSE Industries- Last Updated on Aug 5, 2021

Millathane® E40 by TSE Industries is a polyether millable polyurethane rubber grade, cured with peroxide or sulfur. Reinforcing fillers like fumed silica and carbon black are added to increase mechanical strength. It uses co-agents like triallylcyanurate (TAC) which provides high crosslinking density and improves compression set. It also contains various plasticizers & softeners like coumarone indene resins and TP-95 (dibutoxyethoxyethyl adipate) to improve processability. Possesses low brittle point, resilience, low viscosity, very short cycle time, excellent flow, demolding, low temperature performance and hydrolytic stability. Shows excellent abrasion-, tear-, heat aging-, ozone-, fuel-, weathering-, hydrolysis-, water- and oil resistance. Millathane® E40 is suitable for processing by extrusion, steam & hot air vulcanization, compression, transfer or injection molding. Calendared sheets could be press-cured or roto-cured. Designed for military & aerospace parts, hoses, seals, gaskets, large rollers and beltings. Recommended for CV-boots, dust covers, mounts & bearings for the automotive industry and other hydraulic or pneumatic applications.
