Millathane® 5004

Millathane® 5004 by TSE Industries is a high performance, peroxide-curable, polyester millable urethane (PU) rubber grade, containing plasticizers, processing aids, stabilizers or anti-degradants. Reinforcing fillers like small particle carbon black or precipitated silica are added to achieve increased hardness and mechanical strength. Use of co-agents increases the crosslinking density and improves compression set. Possesses very short cycle time, excellent flow, demolding and negligible mold fouling. Provides good low temperature flexibility, excellent processing, excellent tear strength and resilience. Shows excellent oil-, solvent-, excellent abrasion-, gas permeability-, oxygen-, excellent ozone-, excellent fuel-, excellent heat-, water- and good hydrolysis resistance. Designed for processing by vulcanization, extrusion, compression, transfer or injection molding. Calendered sheets can be press-cured or rotocured. Millathane® 5004 is used in seals, gaskets, rollers, diaphragms, O-rings, suction cups, molded electrical parts, dust covers, mounts & bearings for automotive industry, inner liners for hoses, and hydraulic or pneumatic applications.
