Luminy® LX175U by TotalEnergies Corbion is an odorless, high viscosity, low flow, bio-based, amorphous, transparent polylactic acid (PLA) grade. Offers a significant reduction in carbon footprint compared to oil-based plastics. It has been certified compostable by Vinçotte (OK Compost S478) and by European Bioplastics 7W2030 (Seedling 7W2030) up to a thickness of 1.0 mm. Luminy® LX175U can be processed by injection molding, film extrusion, thermoforming or fiber spinning. Complies with EN-13432 standard. Luminy® LX175U meets EU commission regulation 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles for food contact applications.
