Luminy® L130 by TotalEnergies Corbion is a medium flow, odorless, high heat polylactic acid (PLA) homopolymer grade. It has a bio-based content of 100% (confidence level 1) and a bio-based carbon content of 100% according to EN16785-1 under certificate number DIC-00001.
- Certified compostable by Vinçotte (OK Compost S478) and by European Bioplastics 7W2030 (Seedling 7W2030) up to a thickness of 1.0 mm.
- Offers a significant reduction in carbon footprint compared to oil-based plastics.
- Exhibits higher melting point and an increased rate of crystallization.
- Suitable for processing by thin wall injection molding and fiber spinning.
- Complies with EN-13432 standard and meets EU commission regulation 10/2011 on plastic materials.
- Luminy® L130 is suitable for the production of semi-crystalline parts, which exhibit a higher temperature resistance.
