TOPAS® 5013S-04 by Topas Advanced Polymers (Polyplastics) is designed for injection-molded diagnostic disposables and detailed parts. It is a high flow, clear cyclic olefin copolymer (COC), a medical-grade material with exceptional clarity, high purity and easy processing. Possesses excellent biocompatibility, good molding accuracy (pit replication), extremely low water absorption and low birefringence. Exhibits very low leachable and extractables, excellent optical properties, excellent alcohol, acid and alkali resistance, and high dimensional stability. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Recommended for diagnostic and optical applications. TOPAS® 5013L-10 complies with ISO 10993, US Pharmacopoeia XXIII-Class VI and UL 94 HB flame rating. Listed with USA FDA under Drug Master File 12132 and Device Master File 1043.
