Sarlink® TPV 5790B by Teknor Apex is a high heat resistant, UV-stabilized thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade with high hardness. It exhibits high tensile strength, excellent flexural fatigue endurance, resistance to high temperatures up to 135°C, outstanding electrical properties, abrasion resistance, and excellent resistance to chemicals & weathering. It has high impact strength, low specific gravity, low tension & compression set and good colorability. It is resilient and offers good processability and medium density. It reduces production costs due to its shorter cycle times, reduces energy needs and has very high material efficiency because of its recyclability. Sarlink® TPV 5790B can be reprocessed through several heat cycles without loss of physical properties. It is suitable for processing by blow molding, extrusion, profiles and injection molding. It is recommended for automotive applications, belts & belt repair profiles, rubber replacement, seals and weatherstripping. It is UL 94 and RoHS compliant.
