Medalist® MD-47235 XRD1 by Teknor Apex is a low density, low hardness, unfilled, lubricated, resilient, halogen-free thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. It possesses good chemical resistance, melt strength, moldability, sterilizability and toughness. This grade is autoclave, radiation and ethylene oxide sterilized. It exhibits high elasticity, excellent adhesion to polypropylene, low flow and low specific gravity. It can be processed using extrusion and injection molding. Medalist® MD-47235 XRD1 is recommended for bushings, closures, disposable hospital goods, flexible grips, grommets, knobs, pharmaceuticals, plugs, rubber replacement, medical and healthcare applications. It is RoHS compliant with agency ratings ISO 10993 Part 5 and ISO 13485.
