Medalist® MD-12150S by Teknor Apex is a high performance, lubricated, halogen-free, unfilled thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. Exhibits good toughness, hardness, chemical resistance, low density & flow, good slip, resilience and adhesion. Offers high elasticity, excellent moldability, good processability, shorter molding cycle, improved compression set and low friction. It is recyclable, bio-compatible and sterilizable through autoclave, radiation & ethylene oxide. It can be over-molded onto engineering resin like PP. It is free from DEHP, phthalates, BPA, latex & ADM and does not require pre-drying. Medalist® MD-12150S is used in plunger stoppers to enhance syringe function. It is also used in bushings, closures, grommets, knobs, plugs, hospital goods, rubber replacement, flexible grips and pharmaceuticals. Meets ISO 13485, ISO 10993-5, REACH and SVHC compliance.
