Plaslube® PPA CF30 TL10 is a PTFE (10%) lubricated polyphthalamide grade filled with 30% carbon fiber. Exhibits low noise, reduced slip-stick nature, high heat resistance and enhanced abrasion resistance. Improves wear resistance by lowering the coefficient of friction on the surface of molded parts. This results in extended life expectancy, lower power requirements, and reduced noise. Eliminates the need for external lubricants on parts that may be difficult to access for routine maintenance. It can be processed using injection molding. Plaslube® PPA CF30 TL10 can be used individually or synergistically. Commonly used in automotive (drive components, connectors, seals, bearings, fuel line clips, pump components, structural housings, and HVAC components), electrical (connectors, structural housings, coil insulation, cooling plates, LED lighting components, and EMI/RFI shielding components) and consumer durable applications. This includes door-lock mechanisms and seat adjustment assemblies in cars, as well as gears, bushings, and bearings for consumer durable and electronic products (housing, bezels, support brackets, internal gears, pulleys and connectors, and abrasive wear applications in contact with paper).
