Synthos EPS® MP42W

Synthos EPS® MP42W by Synthos Group is a light-weight, free flowing and general purpose expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade containing pentane as the expansion agent. Exhibits high density, good mechanical & impact properties, excellent surface finish, very short molding cycle time & conditioning time. It is insoluble in water and soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated solvents & ketones. Can be processed using foaming and high speed injection molding. Synthos EPS® MP42W is recommended for food contact applications, thin walled (<10mm) pieces, construction products, shape and block molded packaging. Complies with RoHS, WEEE, EC Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH), 1272/2008 (CLP) and (EU) No 453/2010.
