Synthos EPS® F42B by Synthos Group is a free flowing, flame retardant, expandable polystyrene (EPS) large block grade containing pentane as the expansion agent. Exhibits medium to high density, good surface finish and good processability. It is insoluble in water and soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated solvents & ketones. Can be processed using foaming. Synthos EPS® F42B is recommended for shape, block and contour moldings with wall thickness <10mm like ceiling tiles, molded panels and decorative profiles. Complies with RoHS, WEEE, EC Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH), 1272/2008 (CLP), (EU) No 453/2010 and DIN4102, Part 1, B1.
