SPRINTAN™ SLR 3402 by Synthos Group is a partially coupled, solution-styrene butadiene rubber (S-SBR) manufactured by anionic polymerization using an organo-lithium initiator. A non-staining stabilizer is added during the production. It bears a generation 2 functionalization for improved polymer/ filler interaction with carbon black and silica. Possesses a low styrene/ medium vinyl microstructure with a glass transition temperature of -62°C. Provides excellent winter performance, improved balance between wet grip and rolling resistance. SPRINTAN™ SLR 3402 is used in summer & all-season tire treads for automotive industry and high-quality technical rubber articles. Complies with ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 regulations.
