EPS Silver® S400R

EPS Silver® S400R by Synthos Group is a free flowing, lightweight, flame retardant, recyclable, expandable polystyrene (EPS) large block grade containing pentane as the expansion agent and an internal modifier. Exhibits low to medium density, good thermal insulating properties, rigidity & dimensional stability. Can be elastified to obtain excellent acoustic properties while maintaining low thermal conductivity at low densities. It is insoluble in water and soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated solvents & ketones. Can be processed using foaming. EPS Silver® S400R is recommended for shape, block molding for making insulation & construction products. Other applications include large contour molding, loose fill cavity wall insulation and elasticized board for impact or airborne sound insulation and floor elements. Complies with RoHS, WEEE, EC Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH), 1272/2008 (CLP), (EU) No 453/2010 and DIN4102, Part 1, B1.
