PURATAN® PCT

PURATAN® PCT is a high performance engineering plastic. PCT is produced by reacting TPA (Terephthalic acid) and CHDM (Cyclo-hexane dimethanol). Exhibits high heat resistance, high deflection temperature, toughness and fast crystallization half time, exceptional thermal stability, and cleanliness: free of particles and ions (F^-, Cl^-, NO₂). Also shows high reflectivity and durability, reflow and lead-free soldering capable resin, low moisture absorption and chemical resistance, long term stability (light and thermal). For various applications, possesses arc resistance in high voltage, CTI (Comparative Tracking Index), whiteness, low wrap-age, dimensional stability, stiffness, outstanding transmittance and excellent hydrolytic stability.
