Supplied bySipchem- Last Updated on May 20, 2026

Sipchem EVA 2018 by Sipchem is a soft, crosslinkable, transparent and flexible ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade produced using an Exxon-Mobil high-pressure tubular process with 18.2% of vinyl acetate. Exhibits high elasticity, good permeability, high density, low melting temperature, good processability, good mechanical properties and high tear resistance. Shows high polarity, good environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR), good gloss, low temperature toughness and low self-ignition temperature (SIT). It is insoluble in water & slightly soluble in hydrocarbon solvents. Can be processed using injection moulding and profile extrusion. Sipchem EVA 2018 is recommended for foams, shoe soles, films and compounds. Complies with CLP Regulation 1272/2008/EC, REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 and GHS.
