HTP-HDS (TR) by Shakun Polymers (Alphagary) is a high density polyethylene grade. Exhibits excellent track resistance, protection against UV degradation, excellent weathering resistance, excellent mechanical properties, environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR), heat deformation resistance, and excellent processing properties. HTP-HDS (TR) can resist severe installation and service conditions even at elevated temperatures. HTP-HDS (TR) is insoluble in water and is suitable for processing by extrusion. Recommended for jacketing fiber optical cables designed for installation in high voltage power transmission lines.
