ECOTEK® SPL-ZHFR-8600 by Shakun Polymers (Alphagary) is a non-halogen, low-smoke flame retardant compound based on polyolefin. It is UV-stabilized also. Consists of special polymers, inorganic filler and other additives. It shows good processing and physical properties. ECOTEK® SPL-ZHFR-8600 is colorable with PE/EVA based masterbatch. Offers good abrasion resistance, excellent mechanical properties, long-term reliability & UV stability, excellent flame retardancy as well as good water resistance as per LTS 1, LTS 3 & LTS 4. Processed by extrusion using low C/R screw rather than regular polyethylene screw. Recommended for sheathing / jacketing applications for cables having large diameters. Cables manufactured with SPL-ZHFR-8800 according to standard technology meet the following industrial cable specifications like BS 7655 LTS 1,3 & 4; IEC 332-1 / IEC 332-2; VDE 0207 PART 24 HM2 & HM4. It is compliant with RoHS.
