Meldin® 5530

Meldin® 5530 is a Polyether ether ketone (PEEK). Is suitable for injection molding applications and provides ultimate customization and design flexibility for basic shapes. Shows reduced friction, superior strength, rigidity, self-lubricating properties, low wear, low weight, less noise, greater resistance to steam and harsh chemicals, improved pump efficiency and minimal water and oil absorption. Used in applications where design parameters include temperature extremes, high loads and speeds, extended wear properties, and broad chemical compatibility. Used for tribological applications like bearings, rotors, gears, thrust washers and piston rings.
