SX559:CM540U by SACO AEI Polymers is a halogen free, flame retardant, silane crosslinkable polyethylene (XLPE) grade. Exhibits low smoke, low fume, low toxicity, good mechanical and electrical properties. The graft component SX559 is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM540U generally in the ratio 95:5. Offers processability at high output rates and is cured post processing by exposure to moisture. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. SX559:CM540U is used in low voltage insulation and sheathing of all types of cable. Is listed with insulation specification BS7211.
