ULTEM™ resin 2312EPR (Americas) is an amorphous polyetherimide (PEI) by SABIC reinforced with 30% milled glass. It is a general purpose, flame retardant grade with internal mold release and enhanced electroplatability. Provides high stiffness, hydrolytic stability, chemical resistance and good mechanicals in broad temperature range. Exhibits low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion, high strength and high heat resistance. It offers high flow, excellent dimensional stability, low toxicity and smoke evolution. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Recommended for electrical devices & displays, home appliances, electronic material handling, electrical components & infrastructure, consumer and industrial applications. ULTEM™ resin 2312EPR (Americas) complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating and is ECO conforming.
