NORYL™ PPE 646 (Asia) by SABIC is a PFAS-free, non-reinforced high molecular weight polymer based on polyphenylene ether (PPE). It is hydrolytically stable and non-hydroscopic. It shows improved heat distortion and creep resistance. It is soluble in common organic solvents like toluene, chloroform and THF. It is intended for use as an additive or a building block in a variety of thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers such as styrenic block copolymers. It is recommended for additive materials, composite, home appliances and consumer goods like lighting. NORYL™ PPE 646 (Asia) is used in electronic material handling, electrical devices, displays, components and infrastructure. It complies with the FDA regulation 21CFR 177.2460 and EU Directive 2002/72/EC.
