FLEX NORYL™ Resin WCD891A (Americas) by SABIC is a PFAS-free, low warpage, flexible, thin-walled, non-halogenated, unfilled and flame retarded extrudable blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It exhibits superior thermal stability, very low water & moisture absorption, dimensional stability, good electrical properties and low specific gravity. It offers hydrolytic stability and good processability. It is impact & creep resistant, non-chlorinated and non-brominated grade. It is used in electronics and electrical industrial applications such as mobile phones, computers and tablets. FLEX NORYL™ Resin WCD891A (Americas) is suitable for processing by wire extrusion coating. It meets UL VW-1 requirements, 80°C end-use temperature rating as well as heat deformation performance as defined by UL 1581. It is suitable for wire insulation and cable jacket applications in dark colors.
