ACM by Robinson Rubber Products is a polyacrylate rubber. Exhibits good compression set, good rebound resilience, excellent vibration dampening, good adhesion to metal and rigid materials. Offers resistance to abrasion, flex cracking, impact, tear, water, weather, flame, sunlight, steam, oxidation and ozone. Possesses good colorability, excellent gas permeability, good odor and good taste retention. Shows resistance to chemicals like acids, alcohols, aldehydes, alkalies, amines, animal & vegetable oil, brake fluids (non-petroleum based, diester oils, esters, fuels, halogenated hydrocarbon, ketones, oils (mineral, silicone), halogenated- and lacquer solvents. ACM can be processed by injection, transfer and compression molding. Used in homogenous parts such as bellows, bulbs, bumpers, bushings, check balls, boots (protective & convoluted), seals (lip, connector, mechanical, special seals & shapes, inflatable seals & shapes), cups, diaphragms, gaskets, grommet, isolators, special plugs & seats.
