OM 1612 by Ortofon is a styrene ethylene butylene styrene (SEBS) elastomer. Provides excellent mechanical properties, adhesion to polypropylene (PP) and excellent compression set. It is sterilized by autoclave (at 134°C) ethylene oxide and gamma radiation. OM 1612 shows environmental-, UV- and chemical resistance. Provides skin kindness and biocompatibility. Recommended applications include medical components, seals, syringe gaskets, medical and pharmaceuticals. Complies with ISO 10993-5 regulation and DMF listing.
