OM 1912 by Ortofon is a styrene ethylene butylene styrene (SEBS) elastomer. It is sterilized by steam (at 121°C or 134°C) ethylene oxide and radiation (at <5 MRad). Provides skin kindness and biocompatibility. OM 1912 shows environmental-, UV- and chemical resistance. Recommended food contact, medical and healthcare applications. Complies with ISO 10993-5 and USP class VI regulation.
OM 1133 by Ortofon is a bromo isobutylene isoprene rubber (BIIR) grade. Offers high impermeability to gases & liquids, excellent aging stability, very good heat resistance and good damping properties. Also offers optimum wear resistance, weather resistance, ozone resistance, optimum resistance to hydrolysis (water & steam) and optimum resistance to chemicals (acid & bases). OM 1133 is recommended for dampers, tubes, membranes, antivibration mounting and medical applications.
