OM 1138 by Ortofon is a nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) grade. Offers good petroleum resistance, strong heat aging resistance and very good abrasion resistance. Also offers very good wear resistance, weather resistance, ozone resistance, optimum resistance to hydrolysis (water & steam), optimum resistance to chemicals (acid & bases) and optimum resistance to mineral oil & gas. OM 1138 is recommended for o-rings, grommets, seals, automotive and aeronautical applications.
