Silopren™ LSR 2650

Silopren™ LSR 2650 by Momentive Performance Materials is a biocompatible, two-component liquid silicone rubber, sterilizable with ethylene oxide, steam and gamma radiation. It is not readily combustible and it does not melt or drip. It is easily pigmented with LSR color pastes. Offers high reactivity, long service life at dynamic stress, high thermal stability, excellent stability and flexibility at low temperature. Exhibits low viscosity, short cycle times, excellent dielectric behaviour over a wide range of temperature, good rubber-like properties, high stability to ozone and UV light. Shows resistance to aging and high tear. It reduces vulcanization temperature while maintaining a standard crosslinking rate. Designed for processing by injection molding. Silopren™ LSR 2650 is used in elastomeric articles like sealing elements, O-rings, stoppers, diaphragms, keypads, bellows, catheters, pacifiers, baby teats, respiratory devices, vibration dampers, nose pads, switch cover, breast shiels, air vent flaps, cable connectors, spark plug boots, pressure cooker parts and parts of medical technical equipment. Complies with USP Class VI, ISO 10993, KTW, WRAS (BS 6920), BfR recommendation XV "Silicones", DVGW (W 270) and FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 regulations.
