Silopren™ LSR 2040 RSH by Momentive Performance Materials is a platinum cured liquid silicone rubber (LSR). It is a crosslinking, two-component resin with a lower impact on the environment. Offers excellent heat resistance, low to no flash, short vulcanization time and ease of de-molding. Provides high clarity, good electrical conductivity & deep and thin-section cure capability. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Possible applications could be automotive, aviation & aerospace, consumer goods, electrical/ electronics, energy and healthcare. Silopren™ LSR 2040 RSH complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 for indirect food contact, USP Class VI, ISO 10993 part 6, 10 & 11 testing and BfR XV requirements. Available as 1:1 ratio by weight.
