MIPELON™ XM-220 by Mitsui Chemicals is a halogen-free, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) with low friction, spherical powder shape and narrow particle size distribution. It possesses uniform & smooth surface, high mechanical properties and exceptional mechanical strength. It functions as a micro-bearing particle inside grease and decreases the coefficient of friction and sliding property. It exhibits low water absorption, good impact strength and innovative processability. It is a self-lubricating, easy to mold grade with high durability and uniform dispersion. It offers superb chemical-, abrasion-, heat- and water resistance. It prevents film blocking and bleed out over time, unlike other slipping agents. Recommended for roll, belt, hose & medical parts. Also, used in dust collection & medical filter due to its pore size and ratio control. MIPELON™ XM-220 is food contact acceptable.
