EVAL™ E105B by Kuraray is ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. It has higher ethylene content that allows greater flexibility and easier processing. It imparts a transparent package for content visibility. It exhibits chemical resistance and low thermal conductivity compared with aluminum foil. It has excellent barrier properties against the permeation of gases including oxygen. It shows minimal absorption of solvents and blocks solvents & chemical substances. It possesses a good barrier for flavor and aroma preservation. EVAL™ E105B is suitable in industrial film, sheets and tube applications.
EVAL™ F171B by Kuraray is an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. It offers superior barrier performance with long-term run stability. It imparts a transparent package for content visibility. It exhibits chemical resistance and low thermal conductivity compared with aluminum foil. It has excellent barrier properties against the permeation of gases including oxygen. It shows minimal absorption of solvents and blocks solvents & chemical substances. It possesses a good barrier for flavor and aroma preservation. EVAL™ F171B is suitable as the standard grade for flexible, automotive industrial film, sheets, bottles and tube applications.
POVAL™ AF-17 by Japan Vam & Poval is a denatured polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. Offers high solubility, little foaming in aqueous solutions, good aqueous solution viscosity stability and high adhesion with polyester and metals. It has carboxyl groups as a denatured group other than the hydroxyl and acetate groups. POVAL™ AF-17 forms a complex with specific metallic salts such as aluminum sulfate.
