EP41S-5Med by Master Bond is a two component epoxy (EP) system for bonding, sealing and coating applications. It offers high glass transition temperature, low shrinkage upon curing and has no solvents or diluents.
- It is easy to use and provides stellar resistance to a wide host of sterilants, including those derived from hydrogen peroxide.
- It exhibits very good physical strength properties, electrical insulation and bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, composites, glass, ceramics, rubbers & plastics.
- It resists repeated autoclaving and allows convenient packaging, available in a gun dispenser.
- It also withstands acids, bases, and aggressive solvents like ethanol.
- It is used in endoscopes, imaging systems, implantable devices, surgical instruments, sterilization chambers, as well as in medical electronics.
- It has a shelf life of 1 year in cans, 6 months in syringes at 75°F.
- EP41S-5Med is RoHS complaint and meets ISO 10993-5 specifications.
