MARIPOL TSA 56 by Marigold paints is a hydroxy functional thermosetting acrylic resin. It is a blend of hydroxyethylmethacrylate (HEMA), methyl methacrylate (MMA) and styrene. It is a 60% solution in xylene and butanol (9:1 ratio). It can be cross linked with isocyanates like desmodur L-75 or desmodur N-75. Exhibits excellent flowability, 2h pencil hardness with amino and 4h pencil hardness with isocyanate. Designed for the production of non-yellowing finishes for auto vehicles, refrigerators and household appliances. MARIPOL TSA 56 is recommended for lacquers for repainting of cars, wood finishes and non-yellowing white on gas tankers. The formulated paint exhibits excellent mar resistance, gloss retention and outdoor durability.
