MARIPOL M-31 by Marigold paints is a medium-high viscosity, butylated melamine formaldehyde (MF) resin. It is soluble in n-butanol & shows infinite tolerance for xylene and white spirit. Compatible with short and medium oil alkyd resins, nitrocellulose, epoxy resins and epoxy esters. Exhibits rapid curing, outdoor durability, very good over-bake resistance, excellent leveling properties and good reactivity in acid curing system. MARIPOL M-31 imparts excellent film hardness, good flexibility and impact resistance. Applications include high quality stoving enamels for auto vehicles, stoving primers & surfacers, acid curing lacquers for wood finishes and cellulose nitrate polishing lacquers.
