Pearlstick™ 45-60/03SP

Pearlstick™ 45-60/03SP is an elastic, crystalline, linear and aromatic thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) grade by Lubrizol. Offers extremely high crystallization rate, medium thermoplasticity and good hydrolysis resistance. Provides high solid content, low viscosity, high performance in the green-strength of joints and heat resistance. Exhibits transparent solutions, high tenacity, stress-strain power, surface tack and low melting point. Soluble in acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), cyclohexanone, dimethylformamide and tetrahydrofuran (THF). Pearlstick™ 45-60/03SP is used in the production of adhesives for bonding plasticized PVC to plasticized PVC, leather, rubber or textiles. Addition of polyfunctional isocyanate improves the heat-resistance and strength of the joints. Recommended for adhesives intended for spray applications in the automotive industry.
