Pearlbond™ 103 by Lubrizol is a linear, polycaprolactone-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade. Exhibits very high thermoplasticity level and very high crystallization rate. It can be processed using extrusion and coating processes such as scattering or dot-coating. Possible applications of Pearlbond™ 103 include production of hot melt adhesives (HMAs), heat-sealable fabrics (thermobonding) and textile coating for making shoe-stiffeners (toe puffs & counters).
