Royalene® 505 by Lion Elastomers is a general purpose, ethylene propylene diene (EPDM) rubber containing a non-staining stabilizer. Offers narrow molecular weight distribution. Exhibits high unsaturation, ultra-fast cure rate, medium range plasticity, excellent low temperature properties and weather resistance. It mixes quickly in internal mixers with excellent dispersion. It can be processed by extrusion and molding. Royalene® 505 is used in closet cell sheet sponge, automotive closed cell sponge molded weather strip assembly corners, molded open cell sponge, tire components such as coverstrips, white sidewalls and black sidewalls, in blends with diene polymers.
