KURARAY POVAL™ 26-80

KURARAY POVAL™ 26-80 by Kuraray is a water-soluble, partially saponified, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It is suitable as emulsion polymerization aid to binder in paper applications. It exhibits uniform chemical structure and good adhesion. Aqueous solution of KURARAY POVAL™ 26-80 can be added to polymer emulsion which is already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to extend the open time, increase setting speed and influence the rheology. It is recommended for the modification of emulsion adhesives, remoistenable adhesives and protective colloid emulsion polymerization. It can be stored for 12 months from the date of shipment.
