POVAL™ VC-20 by Japan Vam & Poval is a fully-hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It is synthetic and available in the form of powder. It is soluble in water and is of high purity. It has little acetate smell or thermal color change, high bulk and good compatibility with cellulose resins such as starch. Main applications of POVAL™ VC-20 by Japan Vam & Poval include films, cosmetic ingredients, pharmaceutical additives and paper processing agents for hard finish of textiles, pigment coating and paper adhesive applications.
