Jampilen HP550J by Jam Polypropylene is a water insoluble polypropylene (PP) homopolymer. Exhibits good mechanical properties and processability. Is suitable for processing by film-, yarn-, monofilament & sheet extrusion and thermoforming. Jampilen HP550J is designed for production of films that can be converted into stretched tapes for weaving applications. Textile film yarns (with a denier count < 1100-1200) are used in carpet backings, bags, industrial fabrics, mats and artificial grass. Film yarn (denier count 3000-28000) is used in baler twines, packaging twines and ropes. Other applications include raffia, tapes, strapping, brush, broom filling, nets and stiff sheet for high quality thermoformings (such as vending cups, packaging for dairy products, trays for fruits, biscuits, chocolates). Jampilen HP550J is suitable for food contact applications.
