PEEK-OPTIMA™ Image Contrast (Low Radiopacity) by Invibio is a non-cytotoxic, biocompatible polyetheretherketone (PEEK) grade having an image contrast additive. Exhibits tailored radiopacity that allows implant visibility to be optimized. Provides superior strength, stiffness and toughness even after sterilization. Offers a broad contrast range of optimal visualization with X-ray, CT and MRI imaging. Can be processed by injection molding and extrusion. Recommended for implantable medical and pharmaceutical devices and applications that require blood, bone or tissue contact of more than 30 days. PEEK-OPTIMA™ Image Contrast (Low Radiopacity) by Invibio complies with US FDA Drug & Device Master files.
