RAMAPET W170 commercialized by Indorama Ventures Public Company is an easy to process polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin, copolymer made from terephthalic acid (PTA), isophthalic acid (IPA) and mono-ethylene glycol (MEG). Exhibits very good flow properties and easily stretchable. It can be processed using injection molding. Allows low melt temperatures for production of low AA preforms and lower blowing pressures leading to cost savings during the bottle production process. Suitable for carbonated soft drinks, water bottles, juices, beer, wine & spirits, household products, food packaging, APET sheet & thermoformed containers and pharmaceutical & medical applications. RAMAPET W170 complies with the requirements of the European Legislation (EU) No 10/2011 for plastics used in contact with food, EU Regulation 2023/2006 and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) CFR 177.1630 and 21 CFR 174.5.
