KRYSTALFLEX® PE900

KRYSTALFLEX® PE900 by Huntsman is polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film. Shows higher adhesion, high elongation, UV resistance, chemical compatibility (e.g. polycarbonate) and multiple design option. Exhibits ballistic resistant, low-haze solution, outstanding clarity, good light, low laminating temperatures and shorter cycle times. Provides tensile strength, impact resistance and good stability in humid conditions & extreme temperatures. It is plasticizer-free, requires no special storage and is suitable for cooler processing. It allows reduced moisture penetration from edge ingress, less potential damage from caulks containing solvents and protection from chipping. It provides an aesthetically pleasing glass laminate edge appearance for multi-layer composites. KRYSTALFLEX® PE900 is suitable for prison containment glazing, vehicle armoring, retail kiosks, hurricane/vandal glazing, large asymmetrical GCP and glass to glass exposed edge lamination. It is used in windows, roofs, physical containments & security barriers in buildings and lamination & encapsulation in the electronics sector.
