KRYSTALFLEX® PE501

KRYSTALFLEX® PE501 is a specialty, aliphatic polyether based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade by Huntsman. It is plasticizer-free grade and requires no special storage. Suitable for cooler processing and provides tensile strength, high clarity and good stability. Exhibits low-haze, good light, low laminating temperatures and shorter cycle time. Offers good impact-, UV-, moisture- and ballistic resistance. Shows chemical compatibility (e.g. polycarbonate), higher adhesion, high elongation and multiple design option. KRYSTALFLEX® PE501 is used in windows, roofs, glazing and physical containments. Other applications include security barriers in buildings, lamination and encapsulation in the electronics sector.
