KRYSTALFLEX® PE193 by Huntsman is an optical aliphatic thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) base grade. It is a plasticizer-free, adhesion promoter-free compound which is suitable for cooler processing. Shows chemical compatibility (e.g. polycarbonate), moisture resistance, higher adhesion, high elongation, UV resistance and multiple design option. Exhibits ballistic resistant, low-haze solution, outstanding clarity, good light, low laminating temperatures and shorter cycle times. Provides tensile strength, impact resistance and good stability in humid conditions & at extreme temperatures. It contains glass primer at laminated temperature of 210°F and above. KRYSTALFLEX® PE193 is used in windows, roofs, glazing, physical containments & security barriers in buildings and lamination & encapsulation in the electronics sector.
